2025 Tokyo “Jintong Cup” 15th International Chinese Tennis Open From October 10–23, 2025, the “2025 Tokyo ‘Jintong Cup’ 15th International Chinese Tennis Open and 14-Day Tennis Cultural Tour,” organized by the International Chinese Tennis Federation and hosted by the Tokyo Tennis Association, was successfully held in Tokyo, Japan. This prestigious international sporting event brought together Chinese tennis enthusiasts from around the world. A total of 21 elite Chinese tennis representative teams and more than 160 tennis players and enthusiasts gathered in Tokyo to celebrate friendship through tennis and create a memorable event that combined sports, culture, tourism, and international exchange. On October 11, 2025, the 15th International Chinese Tennis Open officially opened in the world-renowned city of Tokyo. The tournament was grandly staged at the Shirako Onsen Sunshine Hotel Tennis Center in Chiba Prefecture, while the well-known Australian Chinese media platform “Australia Vision” provided full live coverage throughout the event. Through twelve years of dedication and continuous effort, the International Chinese Tennis Federation has remained committed to promoting Chinese tennis on the international stage, connecting Chinese tennis lovers worldwide through their shared passion for the sport. At the opening ceremony, Lucy Chen-Jin, President of the International Chinese Tennis Federation, delivered an inspiring and heartfelt speech in a joyful and energetic atmosphere: “We sincerely thank all sponsors and the local Chinese communities in Tokyo for their tremendous support and assistance. We are also deeply grateful to Chinese tennis enthusiasts from around the world for traveling to beautiful Tokyo to participate in the International Chinese Tennis Open. Here, everyone can compete, watch professional matches, travel, and build friendships. This is an important platform for self-expression and for becoming part of the global Chinese tennis family. It is also one of the grandest and most prestigious overseas International Chinese Tennis Open events ever held. This event has received tremendous support and attention from the Tokyo Tennis Association, major Chinese community organizations, and media outlets. It is not only an international tennis tournament, but also a global Chinese tennis carnival filled with friendship, warmth, passion, and family spirit. On the morning of October 12, all 21 participating teams gathered across eight professional courts at the Shirako Tennis Center in Chiba, Tokyo, for exciting and intense competition. This year’s tournament featured many outstanding players, including retired professional athletes and highly accomplished amateur tennis enthusiasts. Participants from different countries, backgrounds, and professions united in Tokyo through their common passion for tennis. Every swing of the racket reflected a sincere love for the sport; every sprint and leap embodied the true spirit of tennis — “Tennis has no borders, and friendship lasts forever.” After fourteen unforgettable days filled with exciting matches and meaningful cultural experiences, the “2025 Tokyo ‘Jintong Cup’ 15th International Chinese Tennis Open” came to a successful conclusion. During the tour, participants not only competed in thrilling team matches, but also attended inspiring international tennis forums, explored the beauty and culture of Japan, and watched the prestigious WTA 500 Tokyo professional tournament live. This was not only a grand tennis celebration for the global Chinese community, but also a remarkable journey that transcended borders while bringing together friendship, dreams, culture, and international exchange.
