Rizhao “Antai Cup”

2019 “Antai Cup” 12th International Chinese Tennis Invitational Tournament (Rizhao) Exclusively sponsored by Antai Real Estate Industrial Group Co., Ltd., the “2019 Antai Cup – 12th International Chinese Tennis Invitational Tournament” was grandly held from July 26–30, 2019, at the Center Court of Antai Tennis Park in Rizhao, Shandong, China. This prestigious event brought together 32 elite Chinese tennis teams and more than 300 tennis enthusiasts from countries and regions around the world, as well as from various provinces and cities across China. The tournament became one of the largest and most influential international Chinese tennis events in the history of the competition series. The opening ceremony officially commenced with the solemn playing of the national anthem. Lucy Chen-Jin, Chairwoman of the International Chinese Tennis Federation Co., Ltd., President of the International Chinese Tennis Federation, and President of the World Chinese Tennis Association, delivered remarks on behalf of the distinguished guests and athletes. Willie Hong, Australian Tennis Ambassador and Chairman of the China-International Tennis Industry Consortium (CITIC), attended the opening ceremony as a distinguished guest and athlete representative. Mr. Bie Chengyuan, Chairman of Antai Industrial Group Co., Ltd., delivered a speech on behalf of the title sponsor and organizers. Mr. Deng Jinshan, Chairman of Beijing Jinyun Electrical Installation Co., Ltd. and General Manager of Beijing Jinyun Tennis Club, attended the ceremony as a distinguished guest and athlete representative. Ms. Xiao Weidong, Executive President of the International Chinese Tennis Federation, Deputy Secretary-General of the Beijing Tennis Association, and Event Promotion Director of Tennis World Company, also attended as a distinguished guest and athlete representative. Ms. Ye Zhouling, Executive Vice President and Secretary-General of the International Chinese Tennis Federation, Secretary-General of the Fujian Jordan Sports Foundation, Vice Chairwoman of the Fujian Hengshen Charity Foundation, Director of the Fujian Young Entrepreneurs Service Center, President of the Fuzhou Tennis Association, and renowned tennis philanthropist, attended the grand opening ceremony as a distinguished guest and athlete representative. After several days of exciting and intense competition, Beijing Jinyun Tennis Club claimed the team championship title, achieving an impressive “three consecutive championships” milestone by winning the 2017 Beijing “Craftsmanship Wheel Cup,” the 2018 Kunming “Fuzhaolou Beetle Cup,” and the 2019 Rizhao “Antai Cup.” Fujian Rongshuchun Tennis Club won the team runner-up title, while Jiangsu Nanjing Shunli Steel Tennis Club secured third place. This remarkable tournament not only showcased the outstanding competitive spirit of Chinese tennis players worldwide, but also further promoted the development and international exchange of Chinese tennis, strengthening friendship and cultural connections among Chinese communities around the globe.
