“Miami’s tropical courts reunite the Chinese tennis family.”
The 10th International Chinese Tennis Doubles Invitational Tournament — the 2019 Miami “Rovaina Cup” — was successfully held from March 18–19 at the North Miami Beach Tennis Centre in Florida, USA.
The event was jointly organized by the International Chinese Tennis Federation (ICTF) and the Florida Chinese Chamber of Commerce, bringing together outstanding Chinese tennis players and enthusiasts from around the world for this grand gathering in Miami.
Mr. James Zhang, Vice President of the International Chinese Tennis Federation and President of the Florida Chinese Chamber of Commerce, attended the Opening Ceremony as both guest of honor and player. Mr. Yuan Wenbin, President of the Wisconsin Chinese Chamber of Commerce, also attended as an opening guest and player. Ms. Zheng Ming — mother of Chinese women’s tennis star Zheng Saisai, as well as a renowned poet and writer — attended as guest and player. Famous Chinese television host Ms. Wu Guomei, who had hosted two previous Miami International Chinese Tennis tournaments, was also present as both opening ceremony guest and player.
The tournament featured a truly impressive lineup of distinguished guests and players, creating an atmosphere comparable to a Grand Slam event. Held during the same period as the world-famous Miami Open, the tournament further embraced the excitement and international spirit of professional tennis.
This year’s event continued to uphold the spirit of:

“Participation, building friendships, strengthening connections, and exchanging tennis skills.”
The organizing committee encouraged all participating teams to embrace the principles of:

while competing with passion and integrity, showcasing both the technical level and positive spirit of Chinese tennis players to the world, and demonstrating the Chinese community’s love and contribution to the sport of tennis.
